C. Let's work with subject pronouns :)

subject pronoun is exactly what it sounds like: a pronoun that takes the place of a noun as the subject of a sentence. Remember, a sentence's subject is the person or thing that performs the action of a verb.

(Un pronombre sujeto es una palabra que toma el lugar de un sustantivo como sujeto de un enunciado. Recuerda: el sujeto de un enunciado es la persona o cosa que realiza la acción del verbo)

Veámoslo en ejemplos:

Los PRONOMBRES PERSONALES en inglés son:

I - YOU - WE - THEY - HE - SHE - IT - YOU

YOU está dos veces porque recuerden que significa "Vos/Tú" (singular) y también "Ustedes" (plural)

Ejemplo en un enunciado:

Julián is a good boy - HE likes to color different pictures.

En lugar de repetir el nombre "Julián" en el segundo enunciado, utlizamos "He" para sustituirlo.

Otro ejemplo:

My best friends are Ana and Gabriela. THEY are nice and kind people.

"THEY" está sustituyendo los nombres de Ana y Gabriela, hace referencia a ellas.

Now, it's your turn to practice :) Te pido que, al costado de cada palabra o frase, escribas el Pronombre Personal que usarías para sustituir esa palabra o frase:

1. My parents -
2. My dog -
3. The books -
4. My friends and I -
5. The teacher -
6. The pencil -
7. My toys -
8. Elena -
9. My students and I -
10. Gustavo -
